Introduced in 1987, Italy’s .IT ccTLD is really popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for constructing creative and attractive domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to create an easy-to-remember domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to give it with colleagues and fellows. As .IT domains are not sold directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that administrates this top-level domain extension, such a domain can be acquired through a third-party domain provider, such as ours.
